| Dobroho Zdorovya! (Greetings!) My name is Gregor Bouldo. The Story of Vladevania is the alternate story of my homeland, Ukraine, if things went slightly different there at one time or the other. When I found out about Scandia, I could not help noticing the State of UFUR and the province of Vladevania created there by Joshua Chabbert.In it he used Ukrainian geographical names although those were arranged ad lib. Joshua agreed to give up Vladevania its independence and the show started. Then it died off. Mainly because my computer died and I began going to school again. Now I am trying to catch up with time once more. Imprortant notes on Vladevania: Although based on Ukraine, the territory of Vladevania is more close to Belorussia (no gigantomania there) I find it difficult to work a whole other calendar like other nations do, so the dates are listed with Latin numerals. I.e. now we have the year MMIII or 2003. I was born in MCMLXXIII or 1974. Goverment of Vladevania is the provisional one headed by a regent Arturis Muelleras. Currently the political atmosphere in the capital of Kyjowo sucks. The infrastructure is damaged my the last war with UFUR. |

| The only organized entity in Vladevania is the utmost western province with an autonomy of its own. It's called the principality of Rachiv and it is based roughly on the terrain and history of the independent Carpatho Ukrainian state of 1939. Here, of course, things went slightly better than in real Carpatho-Ukraine and the 40,000 volunteers of the Guard will not be machine-gunned down the Tysa river. The principality is being currently run by Commandant of the Vladevanian Armed Guard. His name is Otto von Stierlitz, a very smart fellow. All of the foreign missions to Vladevania are located in the capital of principality, Rachiv. |
| The economy of Vladevania sucks about as bad as the one of its prototype Ukraine. Rachiv Principality, however is the whole other story. There the Vladevanian Armed Guard (VAG) amassed all of the last war's loot and created a sort of a Liechtenstein. The currency is based on gold, and there is some murky stuff with offshore activity and tax haven in Rachiv. |
| My own figure appears there in the face of a hetman-exile Hrycian II. Hetmans were the historical rullers of the cosack state in XIV-XIIX centuries Ukraine. Besides most of my family lineage goes from there. To answer the question of many: no, I do not suffer frpm the Napoleon syndrome. Figure this: if I came up with the current concept of Vladevania, doen't hetman Hrycian deserve a spot in the lime light as well? |
| Lastly, I am working on my masters degree while earning the daily bread fulltime. As you can guess this does not leave too much time for Scandia. | As the new pages will appear, so will the state of Vladevania return to life and to a decent political/economical situation. It is only fair that it holds on to a modest status on the face of Scandia. So to put it in the game's language: we are neutral now... |
