| Rahobank is one of the oldest and most trusted financial institutions in the principality. It has been found over three centuries ago during the Ostensian land lease. The need to manage the profits liberated by extensive developing of the mining in Karpatian Mountains and Rahobank was created. In order to preserve the worker�s welfare and the later the nature�s equilibrium strict rules were added to its system upon every re endorsement. A big share of the profits made in the region and destined for export was always invested in the principality and the surrounding areas. Even the Nivean occupation could do very little against it since Rahobank was already well known outside the country and brought in money from Abaco and Katabatica. Later Rahobank helped to establish an independent reserve for the principality of Rachiv and provided subsidies for the reestablishment of the Rachiv currency or KORUNA (you can see the samples of the various banknote denominations here). Principality of Rachiv enjoys a special and the privileged economic status in Vladevania. It can manage its financial affair with a full autonomy from the main state and in some affairs totally independent. An offshore free economy zone has been again re instituted in the principality with hopes of bringing the foreign investors that are not so lucky with their tax systems at home. |
