| In lieu of the new stage of relationships with Haromszek, government of Vladevania has considered sending a new ambassador. Obersturmbanfuehrer der VAG count Wowan von Majewski was nominated after the long deliberations. Count Wowan is a famous figure in Vladevania and way beyond it. During the war of independence he commanded the insurgent airforce wing making it very difficult for UFUR to conduct bombing raids on Vladevania. He was wounded twice and received appropriate decorations. Although evil tongues spread rumors that his injuries were caused by alcohol overdose it is not true. There are also rumors that count Wowan�s appointment is another nepotistic arrangement of hetman Hrycian. After all count is a godfather of hetman�s son hetmanych Martyn. This does not seem to concern the masses however. | REFUGEES FROM MEDINAT TZION: CAN THIS BE HAPPENING ? |
| The Coast Guard in cooperation with the Border Patrol seized a cargo ship bound for Sunamia from Medinat Tzion. The ship carried 34 refugees from Medinat Tzion, all of them in good shape the Coast Guard reported. The crew of were arrested and the ship were towed to Westensas. The crew were all Medinat Tzion citizens. Refugees fleeing Medinat Tzion has increased rapidly. Most try to flee over the water to the Sunamian West Coast. "They usually pay like a 2000 Sunammios (1000 CC) for a ticket which they can't afford, then they have to work it off in Sunamia for the smuggelers" Rita Merchant, Border Patrol said to Sunamia Times News. |

| The Government has several times tried to get the Medinat Tzion government to make promotions to stop people from buying the tickets, and also to arrest several smuggeling elements in Medinat Tzion. "We have given them information on smuggelers we believe to be in Medinat Tzion dealing with refugees, but they havn't done anything to stop them" a source within the Sunamian Embassy in Iudeen Medinat Tzion said. The Medinat Tzion government responded with: "We don't understand, there are no smuggelers, they have to be from another country". On that we have to comment: What is going on? These Tzionists cannot find a stable place anywhere! It seems that just yesterday they were aggressively demanding an independence milking every foreign benefactor they could find and claiming to build a perfect Tzionist society, and today they are fleeing their own country. |

| Our sources in Kanjiri report that 9 out of 10 children would like to have a tiger for a pet. Interestingly enough the government seems to be jealous of it and has issued a decree banning the practice of private ownership of the wild animals. Meanwhile, the flood of confiscated creatures is overfilling local zoos threatening to deprive the inhabitants of what little resources the local administrators give up for animal food and care. |
