My Philosophy of Education
I believe that public school is the place that offers children the best opportunity to learn and grow in a diverse setting.  The time that a young child spends in school is the most influential in his or her academic and social development.  Elementary school is where a childs attitudes about school are developed.  One of my goals as an elementary educator is to instill in children a love of learning that they will carry with them throughout their lives.
During the time I spent in elementary school, I had the opportunity to learn from several inspiring educators.  These people were devoted to helping their students develop good study habits and a thirst for knowledge.  It is because of these memorable teachers that I decided to pursue a career in education.  I will do my best to be an inspiration to the children that I have in my classroom.
It is my belief that all children have the potential to learn.  I am aware that different teaching methods are required to meet each students individual needs.  Through my eclectic teaching style, I will be able to adapt my teaching to meet the needs of all my students.   By implementing the teaching skills that I have learned through my education and practical experience and by being a positive role model, I feel that I can give my students the best possible education.
