Goal Setting: Phillip

Each meeting discuss:

1.       Short term goals             

2.       Midterm goals (3-6 months out)

3.       Long term goals

 

Roundtable: Fritz

·         Minutes posted on  Arapahoedistrict.org 

·         Steve will notify Pack of contact person within the Roundtable

·         May need a rotating person to attend Roundtable

 

Monthly Pack Meetings

·         Overall Schedule updates

o        October is under Andrea & Harry Giglio

o        May  - Dinosaur Cake Bingo (previously April)

§         Lisa will purchase 150 cards

§         Theme is “Jurassic Park/Dinosaurs)

o        April – Martial Arts Demo (previously May)

 

·         Round-Up Review

o        Sept. 11th is countywide Round-Up

o        3-8 new Tigers

§         Levi, John & Fritz will start coordinating the Tiger den and set a meeting for next week

o        Future round-ups should utilize the round-up schedule posted by the Scouts

o        YPT may not be best used at a round-up

§         Only mandatory for leaders, parental involvement is voluntary

o        Leaders should arrive at least 15 minutes early to go over meeting agenda

 

·         Popcorn

o        Pickup is on Sept. 6th at Graebel :  16456 E. Airport Circle in Aurora at 8:00a.m.

o        Need volunteers for pickup and distribution, petty cash for change, runners for cash

o        Den leaders will contact their parents for volunteers

o        Bonus Drawing

o        Sean will order 12 child-medium cub scout shirts for the Tigers to wear to show and sell

 

·         September

o        Jill & Robin in charge

o        2nd yr webelos to do flag ceremony

o        Need minimum 120 balsa wood planes

 

 

·         October

o        1st year webelos to do flag ceremony

o        Andrea & Harry Giglio in charge

 

Newsletter: Sean

·         Mike Miller has been asked to begin work on the newsletter

·         Newsletter will be posted to the website (pack872.com), den leaders will decide how it is to be distributed

 

Communication:

·         Phillip will acquire a clean email distribution list

 

Rental Unit: Carlo

·         Boy Scout items have been removed, leaving only Cub Scout items

·         Currently have two crossover bridges; need to donate one and refurbish the other

 

Pinewood Derby             

·         New track will be ordered

 

Cub Scout Shirts

·         Lisa gave 3 design ideas;  committee picked flag design for front breast pocket, akela design for back side, gray shirts, order one size up

·         Committee members will pay $5 for a shirt, Parents will be charged $10

·         Lisa will check price points for up to 150 shirts, and will order  additional shirts in each size range, coordinated by Phillip

 

Packmaster Software:Joe

·         Information distributed to appropriate leaders and committee members

 

Flag Ceremony

·         September: 2nd year

·         October :1st year

·         November: Boy Scouts

·         December: Bears

·         January: Wolves

·         February: Boy Scouts

·         March: Tigers
