| Originally an airplane manufacturer Bavarian Motor Works has taken leaps and bounds to the top of the sports and luxury sedan catagory. Since the trademark emblem of a propellar turning through the blue sky BMW has always made a great engine. After the company started to decline during the second world war the needed to reach for something new. BMW chose to make motorcycle engines. The broke almost every motorcycle top speed record out there. It was the begining of a long and strong legacy in performance excelence. Years after that the began designing automobiles. It wasn't until the seventies when BMW began being noticed as competitive. Through great engineering and a tasteful design the Bavarian crew in Mucich took the stage as leading importer from Europe in the Early 90's. They stole the competition right under the nose from Mercedes Benz and have been running with it since. BMW is living up to it's potential. |
