Sounds stupid no? Well believe it or not, you might be like Homer or Tomoko.
The lesson here is that..Be open. seriously. Stop being such an asshole. Free your fucking mind, seriously. Its cool to like just one sorta music, but then yea. When you start obessing over one type then dogging on other music, its not cool. IMO, Rock and Rap have the same amount of difficulty, even though it might not seem like it. Both take a suprisingly amount of time and effort to write. Sure rock may seem like it takes more skill, but most rappers freestyle as well. Compare playing the guitar to flowing with a vast vocabulary, i'd say their pretty equal (to some extent) So dont be a Homer or Tomoko, listen to all sorts of music, love it, embrace it. You'll be pleasently suprised and figure out "rap" or "rock" or whatever music you ignore is pretty good. If you try it out and still think it sucks, then good for you. You tried it, i can't complain. jUst make sure you have good reason of hating it, instead of some bullshit reason like "OMGG!!! RAP SUCKS SOOO FREAKIN MUCH LOLOLOLOLLOL!!! THEY JSUT TALK AND TALK NOT MUSIC HAHAAHAHA" So i guess this is the point of my rant. Try out other music then make up a good excuse to hate it. That works :D MAtter of fact, turn the radio off. Go search some strings online and DL the songs. Thats when you find the real beauty. Of course, stay clear of country music and "indie pop" everyone knows that they both suck donkey balls.
