1. What
is the CSMC?
The Confederate States Marine Corps – along with the Confederate States Navy – form the only branches of the Confederate military service enlisted directly by the Confederate Government. We still exist as a force, to preserve the Dream of Confederate Independence.
2. You're
kidding, right? That's illegal!
Hardly.
3. But
the questions of slavery and secession were settled in 1865! You can't
reengineer history!
Who said anything about slavery? As for
secession (and slavery, for that matter), the only thing resolved in 1865 was
that a nation with a greater population and a better-developed industrial base
could militarily conquer another country. Secession was once taught as a viable
political tool at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY for the
very excellent reason that, if secession is illegal, then the “united States”
itself is an illegal entity, seeing as it “seceded” from the English kingdom.
4. You
people should support the USA! There's a war against terrorists going on and
American troops are dieing to protect you!
And we probably know that far better than you do. As to fighting “terrorists”, the CSA and its various military formations decry and denounce the use of direct military action against civilians, a type of act that violates every single clause of “civilized” warfare – and something else that the CSA knows something about.
The current “war” (so-called) is nothing but a
giant raiding expedition to benefit a group of “korporations” who have
collectively bought the so-called “government” of the “united States” lock,
stock and barrel.
5. You're
all a bunch of traitors!
Hardly. “Treason” is defined as “…giving aid and comfort to the enemy in time of war.” Who is the enemy? The Iraqi people? Ask yourself this: when did the sovereign country Iraq ever attack the “united States” without fully justified provocation?
6. Then
what authority do you operate under?
We operate under the authority of the last seated Confederate Government.
7. How?
There IS no Confederate government!
If the so-called ‘government’ of the “united States” were completely destroyed tomorrow (an event that that body has itself planned for), would the “united States” cease to exist? Would a governing body formed in the aftermath of such an event be ‘legitimate’?
We still rely on our devotion to our Nation, and the facts that no surrender was ever signed, nor did the last Confederate Government ever formally dissolve itself.
8. Aren't
you calling for armed revolt?
Certainly not.
9. Then
what's the point?
We stand in readiness to assist a legally constituted Confederate Government, whenever the People-At-Large see fit to seat one.
Also, the Tyrant Regime in Washington, D.C. is
striving hard to create a series of ever more disastrous wars to prop up its
agenda. When they finally destroy Western Civilization, we will be ready to
step into the breach.
10. That's crazy.
Is it? Any more so than planning to find an excuse to go to war with a nation before you are even elected to office? Is it any more crazy than lying not only to your own constituents, but to the world at large? Is it any crazier than using “…You are either with us, or you are with the terrorists…” to justify assassinations, wars and attacking or undermining any nation that dares to disagree with you about anything at all?
Every one of these things has happened or is happening right now, in 2005, C.E. as a result of the actions of the Tyrant Regime.
Crazy? The US military is stretched to the breaking point, and not even the writings of a rehabilitated criminal can disguise the fact that the troops are under-paid, under-equipped and badly taken care of in general…And the Tyrant Regime is doing, what? Rattling sabers at nations that it has not been using as a soccer ball for over a decade, nations that are fully prepared and fully capable of showing them just exactly what the definition of “asymmetrical warfare” really is.
And all the while, the very thing that the Tyrant regime is striving so hard to secure – oil – is running out.
So – tell me again what is “crazy”?
11. Why should I support you?
That is a decision you have to make for yourself. The CSA – and its component, the CSMC – stand for freedom: freedom to live, freedom to farm, freedom to act, to write, to think as you will.
The Tyrant Regime does not.
When the hammer comes down, do you seriously
think that the so-called “US Government” will protect you?
