The fest starts at the
beginning of November and will last two months. The exact
beginning and ending dates will be announced as soon as they are
available. |

When you decide to take
part in the Harry/Weasley FQF please join the
H/W FQF Yahoo!Group. This
list is only for writers and if you join you will have to take up
a
challenge. |

| 3. |
If you do not want to
join but still want to be informed about any updates to the
H/W FQF you can join a mailing list.

| 4. |
After you joined, you
have to request a
challenge at
the group which will be sent to you within the day though there
is, of course, always the possibility of a delay. |

| 5. |
You may choose your own
challenge but this option is tied to a special set of rules. If
you do this you have to choose at least three challenges from the
list
to combine
in one big story which has to be at least 5000 words long. |

|
| 6. |
All other
stories have to be at least 1500 words long. Shorter stories and
Drabbles will be accepted, but only if the author has already
submitted at least one story as covered in rules 3 and 4. |

| 7. |
All
stories must be complete and beta read before they are submitted.
If you do not have a beta reader take a look at the
link page
where you can find links to sites where betas can be found. |

| 8. |
The
header of every story you send to us has to include your name,
your email, the challenge(s) the story responds to, the
appropriate warnings (rape, BDSM, angst, etc.) and the rating. |

| 9. |
You are
not allowed to post the stories anywhere else but the
H/W FQF until
the wave ends. Afterwards you may do with it as you wish. But if
you decide to post it anywhere else we ask you to include
following in the header: a link to the
H/W FQF's main page (http://de.geocities.com/hpwslash/) and
the challenge(s) you were responding to. |

| 10. |
Once your
story is finished and beta read please submit it either in .txt or
.doc format to
[email protected]. It will then be archived at the
H/W FQF page. |

| 11. |
By
submitting your fic, you agree that the fic will be posted to the
H/W FQF
Archive for as
long as the archive exists. |

|
| 12. |
The main
pairing of your story must be Harry/Male Weasley, however you may
have other side pairings as long as they remain just that, SIDE
pairings. The characters also have to be over sixteen. Which means
that all stories have to be after Harry's sixth year. They may be
AU though, disregarding or completely ignoring the happenings in
one or all books. |

If you
feel that you are unable to write a story with he challenge
assigned to you, you may swap with another group member (just post
an inquiry at the
Yahoo!Group)
or ask for a new challenge at the group *once*. |
