Today was a good day.

Have hope for tomorrow.

Yesterday was alright.

Day before was sorrow.

Fairness comes in moments.

Just as quick it goes.

Hold the happy instant.

There’s time enough for woes.

Joy is like sun sparkles

On this ocean called ‘life’.

It twinkles only after

Passage of stormy strife.

To know the one requires

Sure knowledge of the other.

What good is light without

Contrasting dark, it’s brother?
