	I reserved Okki from a danish Chrisas chinchilla breeder, Okki's ex-owner on July 2006. I waited for over three moths. On the way to Finland, they found a mysterious bump in Okki's jaw, and they suspected it as a tooth thorn. After getting to Finland, it was taken to x-ray on the next day (3.10.), where the frightened tooth thorn was assured. The options were leaving him alive, which would mean a monthly tooth grinding (travelling to Helsinki every month > anesthetic > grinding). This'd be very stressing to the animal on a long term. That is why I gave a permission to the doctor to let Okki from its pains, in other words, let it sleep eternally. At that moment, I thought that the decission was hard to make, but when I think about it now, it wasn't hard at all. Though, the options were letting the suffering continue or putting an end to it. This was the best decission. I never got to see Okki "live", but maybe it's better that way. Already after looking at it from the pictures got me to get attached to it, and to lose it, was painful. What would've it been, if I had got to know it? RIP Klaraberg's Pinochio
