Octobers Notice As you all may have noticed, I have been backed up with grading papers 
and submitting points. Therefore I have appointed Mirabella Nevlome the job of being 
my new class assistant. She will be helping to grade the Hufflepuff and

Extra Credit (Worth 10 points) 

In book five we are re-introduced to the Thresals. Before all we knew was that they 
delivered the Hogwarts students to and from the Castle. In book five we learn that the
 Thresals carry a deeper meaning. With the help of new friends (Luna Lovegood) Harry is 
able to finally learn more about this magnificent creature. 

Skim through your copy of OOTP and list as many new qualities you learned about the
Thestrals. For example, those who have witnessed death can only see the Thresal.
