I knew a gardener once, who made our garden very beautiful. I asked what his secret was, and he told me that it was to do ordinary things extraordinarily well. I have always tried to live that principle, sometimes falling short, sometimes exceeding. Perfection is found in the little things that most people take for granted. A house is strong not because of the gilded wind vane on its peak, but because of the foundation stones deep in the dirty earth. A plant because of its roots and not its leaves, no matter how beautiful. Yes, I do wish I could be a gardener someday?
