HPAIR is, I believe, a great venue through which future leaders from around the world exchange ideas and resolutions about current, significant issues and events. I think that it is really appropriate that the focus be on Asia, since it is a region in which many developments are occurring and has much potential that is slowly being realized. I must really commend� those responsible for initiating a project such as this. I have never been to an HPAIR conference before; neither have I been involved in the HPAIR organization of my university in the past. Now that I am a part of the delegation, I really do not know what to say. I am so overwhelmed. When we started preparing for the HPAIR conference, it seemed like such a distant affair... My fellow delegates who have been to previous conferences say that it is a great event and is definitely something to look forward to. I expect nothing less. I am certainly looking forward to meeting and communicating with the various delegates from all over the world. I would like to end with a message to my fellow UA&P delegates... Pam, you've been such a great head delegate. It was a wonderful and learning experience collaborating with you. To all the UA&P delegates -- you know who you are -- I've learned much from you guys. Thanks for everything. If not for HPAIR, I might not have gotten to know such wonderful, intelligent, and highly admirable people like you. Look out Beijing, here we come!
