Nest Of StarShine

"Squirt! squirt!!" Jupiter awake with a loud grump, someone poked his eye! He opened it, and looked straight into a curious small face.

Welcome to starshine's nest. Starshine is the son of Jupiter, Ravens second elf dragon. Starshine will grow up with her father here, high above the ground on this cloud.
The cloud is shreded with mist, and it's high above ground, here it is always night and the stars are a beautiful sight. The egg is heated by small stars hovering around it, providing heat and air circulation.

The egg lays there, peacefully. If you put your ear down to it, you can hear small noises inside....
You notice something sleeping next to the egg. it's a dragonflyer from silver valley, which will look after the egg when it hatches....
You suddenly spot Jupiter walking towards you on the cloud.
When you return, Jupiter is laying by the egg. You can see he's tense, his tail is moving forward and backwards, and he has his eye on the egg all the time. the other one is closed.
Starshine have grown! and Jupiter is so proud! He does his best to give his daughter a good home...

Wow, look at our big girl! She's now an adult, and ready to mate or battle. Wish her luck in the future!

Magenta sky. There was peace on the clouds, and it didn't seem like Jupiter was home. The only movement was the slow yawning of a small Dragonflier which was unknown to you. it was sleeping near the fireplace, which was burning with bright blue flames.
BANG!
The door slammed open! Raven ran in, carrying a bright, yellow egg. outside it was glowing, and suddenly, a big dragon bounced in the massive door, quickly turning around slamming the door shut.
"puuh..." Raven gasped for air, holding the egg.
Jupiter, the great purple air, took a few steps before laying down before the fireplace, exhausted.
^we...NEVER..do..that...again!^ he snorted, then laughing.
^well, of course we do, if I have another clutch!^
Raven sighs and remember the trip to get the egg. Jupiter was having his first clutch, and had been really exited. They went to pick up the egg then started of their trip back to Magenta Sky. But then they ran straight into a fierce clan of evil wild fire dragons, and some of them followed even up to Magenta Sky.
Raven put the egg in its nest, then she did her specialty in magic, mini stars, which was used to heat the egg. That technique was used on many other eggs in her posession too. Then she sank down in a chair.
^don't you dare be exhausted! I scared the wild dragons away!^ Jupiter said with a grin.
"haha.. but I cast the spell on the last one here, so you could shoot it down!"
After a while they both fall asleep.....
^Hey! If you didn't noticed, annoying fellow, I was sleeping!^
"Squirt!!" The small dragonflier, because that's what it was, a dragonflier from Silver Valley, ran over to the egg and put its little her towards it.
^What the....^ Jupiter was still getting awake. He walked over to the egg, listening.
^Raven! wake up! My daughter's making sounds!^
Raven woke up with a yawn and looked out. The star sky was lighter, and she realized it was morning.
"what...wha..oh!" she ran over, pressing her ear against the egg. She could hear a soft purring from inside. The baby was healthy!
"Oh...and who have we here? a dragonflier! how did you get up here little fellow? this is far for you to fly..."
The little dragonflier looked proudly up at Raven, not without a sense of arrogance.
"Og so you did fly up here...you shouldn't be up here. Fly back to your pack now! I guess you're wild, huh?"
Raven tried to grab the dragonflier, but its small wing claws held on to the egg, and it started screaming.
^No wait....let it go, Raven.^ Jupiter stood tense listening. Raven let go of the Dragonflier.
"what? you're hearing something?"
^Yes, at least I did. The baby screamed at the same time the dragonflier did. It's like they're bonded somehow!^
"Is that so...well you have better hearing than I do..and we were going to get the egg a guardian anyways. What do you say?"
When all agreed, that was set. The baby dragon got its best friend, even unborn!

"time to go. The egg must be left in peace,"
he says with a friendly voice.
You climb up on his back and he's taking you back to his realm...
"Um...Jupiter? is this a bad time? what are you doing?" You ask carefully.
shhhh...It's hatching! my little baby girl will soon hatch!
ah, the crazyness of a father. Who can blame him? you think, and sit down in a chair.
Crack!!!
A small opening appears in the egg. Jupiter immediately stands up, tense. He's looking down in the opening when he suddenly jumps back. A tiny beak-like nose appears and it's punching its way through. then a large crack appears and the dragons head is visible. It's making chirping noises and is struggling to get out. Jupiter is totally in love.
My little baby....
Then the egg opens and the small dragon blinks towards the light and her father. You watch the couple happily and definantely decides you'll come back!
