| This is the infamous unaired pilot of a sit-com that was never sold to the major networks. There are many videos, like the one above, floating around with this very show taped on it. Your best bet is to look on eBay. I've finally found out what the episode is all about. I got a video that I won on eBay (FINALLY after 5 months!!!) that features the pilot. The episode is about Archie and Jughead making a computer to match up people in time for the dance at Riverdale High. At the end you're treated to a special segment where the Riverdale resdents pitch ideas for possible new episodes (of course they were never to be) to Mr. Weatherbee. I also learned from this segment that Columbia Pictures Television's (now Sony Pictures Television) sister company Screen Gems was the original distributer of this series. This is the same company behind some classics as Dennis the Mennis, Bewitched, and The Partridge Family to name a few. Too bad it didn't get a life of its own like its peers. | ||||||||
