How do you know if the Holy Spirit is inside you? If you love Jesus and put your faith, hope and trust in Him, then the Holy Spirit will dwell in you. It will help you do what is right and assist you to turn from sin. Only the Holy Spirit with Jesus's help can you turn from sin and live a righteous life.
If you choose not to love the Lord, then he will not send the Holy Spirit to dwell inside you. If you reject Him, then you will be cast into eternal damnation.
