| The Tender Heart
There is nothing that touches my heart more than the love that you know has lasted a lifetime. I received a call from an elderly gentleman whose wife had been very ill. She had passed out and regained consciousness when he called me very concerned for her on 911. I got all of the information needed and dispatched the paramedics to his location and then asked if she had any medical history that they should be aware of. He said well she has always had a "tender heart". I just loved that! I knew he meant heart problems, but it just had so much deeper meaning behind it, and I knew that not only she, but he has a "tender heart". |
