| Little One
I received a call from a very sweet elderly hispanic lady. She was needing an ambulance for herself and was home alone. I stayed on the phone with her until an officer arrived on scene and then told her that he was there. Before she disconnected the call she said so very sweetly "Oh thank you meja". Which touched my heart, but I wasn't sure why. I asked someone later and found out she had said "Oh thank you little one". Sometimes people can communicate so beautifully with just the sound of their voice, even if you don't understand the words. |
