| During Summer 2002, Andy Ross was acting in a summer stock production of Little Shop of Horrors. One of the other actors in the show B.J. Roberts, approched Andy and asked him if he was intrested in hosting a show on Tusculum College's Radio Station WTPL. Andy accepted and then went away planing his show. Andy wanted a show that would be a "Dr. Demento-esq" show for East Tennessee. He also wanted to preforme original comedy material on the show. Conceved under the title How To Recognize Diffrent Types of Tree's From Quite A Long Way Away. (H2R for short)The initial concept was the only person on the show would be Andy and he and other actors would pre-record the sketches. H2R premired October 24, 2002. for the first two shows it was just Andy then he asked his friend Daniel Greene to be a guest, on the night of that show Daniel brought along his friend Brian Hinkle, What happened that night would change the coruse of the show forever. Daniel and Brian were very funny and clicked right along with Andy so well he decided to have then on each week, then their pal Chance Barkley asked to be on and thus The Knights Of The Octogon Table were born.
