| The Poison within us all... |
| The poison is in your mind. All of our minds. We are so used to it, that we don't even recognize what it does to all of us. It's like being spoon-fed trace amounts of Arsenic as babies into adulthood. You can't see it, you can't taste it - it is almost undetectable to us. As we grow into maturity, we get sicker, and wearker within our minds. It eats us from the inside out. Some may recognize that there is a problem, but may not stretch so far as to find the solution. Our very own spirits become so distant from us, that we don't listen to the cries from within. The very powerful, rushing river of life has become barely a whisper. We are imprisoned at birth, and live as victims until death. We have become slaves, not only to ourselves, but to a much uglier force of life. We simply don't realize that we are all blind. Some of us have only begun to see, although most of us will never see. When the poison reaches our mind , it then reaches and makes its way into our hearts. Once poison reaches the heart, there is a greater chance that we will be forever lost. We feel the need for power in may situations. We seek to not re-live the harmful position of being a victim. What we don't even realize is that we were all victims at at least one point in time. We also don't see the fact that it is up to each of us to stop ourselves from being a victim again, no matter the situation. If you believe that you are a victim then you will always remain a victim. The war is not won with physical weapons. It is fought and battled within ourselves. The war is within us, all of us. Some choose to fight, others choose not. The ones who choose to fight, sometimes grow tired and their faith begins to wither. some fighters question if the fight is worth it or not. Just because the war seems impossible to be won, does this truly mean that it is? Just because there seems to be no hope, does that make it so? |
