| THE BATTLE...page 3 Ahh, yes...of course the tribes people must kill for food, clothes, shelter, weapons and tools. The difference is that they use every part of the animal and leave none to waste. They also respect and pray for the animal and give thanks or leave an offering in trade and respect for the blessing that they may feed their people. We, of course, take in excess and obtain many goods and materials for personal gain that have nothing to do with survival. How is this right? Do we truly need all the crap we buy in stores? Will we surely die without all of our ' things' ? Sounds as though the tribesmen have it pretty worked out in the long run and in the broader scale of life while we tinker and toy with our things and masterpieces and in return, look down upon them as though they were the primitive race. We rape, consume and continue to destroy the earth in excess so that we can maintain our ' Ways of life'. We are even fully aware that the earth will be unable to support masses of human life in but a few short years since not only is the earth sick and slowly deteriorating from our constant harvesting of ' things', ,but we are too busy fighting amongst ourselves and funding our militaries instead of trying to band together to stop the destruction of our own planet. Sounds to me like we have seriously got to straighten our our priorities. I love the term- " History of evolution"... -From what I can see, looks like we have de-evolved and our state of evolution is in fact going backwards.
