Chapter 13
"So how is it we're getting in to his room again?"Tamara inquired two weeks later on their flight to Richmond.
"We're gonna arive at the arena, tell the guys we're gonna drop our things at the hotel.  You'll be waiting in the van securely hidden.  Then AJ'll mention something about leaving something in Howie's room.   We'll assure him we'll return with the key when we come back for the show. If he asks what was found, we'll simply tell him we couldn't see it anywhere that maybe he can find it when they're done for the evening. Hopefully he'll surrender his key, otherwise we have to revert to plan B,"Kris offered.
"Which is?
"I don't know yet."
"That instills a lot of confidence in plan A."
"You worry too much Tam,"Leigh Anne interrupted."Besides, plan A is full proof.  We've done it a couple of times when we wanted to surprise our hubbies."
"Really?  Then why haven't they caught on yet."
"You know men."
"That gown is gonna knock him over.  He'll forgive us in the morning."
"I'm trusting you two you know?"
"We know,"they chimed.
"I'm gonna get a little sleep.  I didn't get much last night."
"If you're lucky, you ain't gonna get much tonight,"Kristin quipped.

Their little scheme worked.  Or so they thought.  After the girls left, Kevin turned to Howie."You know you're gonna get lucky tonight don't you?"
"What?"
"Tamara was curled up in a ball on the floor of the van.  AJ didn't leave anything in your room.  That's just their ploy of getting into our rooms when they wanna surprise us.  Last time I think it was me that had left something in Bri's room.  They come back claiming they couldn't find the lost object for you and return with the key unharmed.  When you get back to the hotel, you have one lovely lady ready and waiting in your room courtesy of the girls."
"We haven't let onto their little charade because it's actually kind of fun knowing who the lucky guy is for the evening,"AJ grinned.
"So just pretend you're surprised,"Brian shot in.
"It sounds crazy is what it is,"dismissing it.  Although, it'd be nice if she was here.  The most he done is talk to her in the past two weeks. He wanted to ravage her body like nobody's business.  The nights seemed to last forever without her there.  How did he do it before now?  It was different.  His body didn't belong to her then.
That evening on the way back to the hotel, his cell phone rang."Hello?"
"How much do you miss me?" the sweet melody of her voice crossed the line.
"How much time you got?"
"You know how much I miss you?"
"Do tell."
"First I wanna nibble on your neck, then I wanna rip your clothes off and wrap my lips around
"Stop,"he felt himself  getting hard just at the mention of her touching him.
"Why?"
"The guys are here,"he muttered under his breath as he shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
"Oh.  You're on your way back to the hotel tonight."
"Yeah."
"I'm sorry."
"It's okay."
AJ bit his lip in hopes of surpressing his fit of laughter but couldn't stop.
Howie perturbedly elbowed him as he continued his conversation.  Even the others were stifling knowing smiles.
"Everything okay honey?"
"Everything's fine.  Look. Can I call you when I get to the hotel?"
"Sure. I love you."
"I love you too,"he turned his phone off.
"You two are just too adorable,"Kevin grinned.
"She's driving me crazy."
"We're telling ya D, she's in your room as we speak.  That relief you're wanting is waiting on your bed right now,"AJ expressed.
"Lay off you two,"Brian interveened.
"I was being serious.  I think it's great.  Love is the greatest  thing in the world to have,"Kevin remarked.
"Do you tell your wife that?"AJ said.
"Actually, I tell her every chance I have and I thank God everyday for bringing her into my life."
"You all are soft."
