Vanessa approached her newfound friends at a table in the club within the hotel. She bubbled,"You are never gonna guess who was in the elevator with me on the way down here?"
"Where are Kristy and Shannon?"Terri interrupted.
"Late as usual. They weren't even half ready when I knocked on the door. Anyway, I was trying to tell you guys something."
"So who did you ride the elevator down with?"Sherl smiled.
"You know the Backstreet Boys are in town right?"
"Yes. Continue."
"I was on the elevator with Howie and AJ."
Sherl's face went pale as a ghost.
"Sherl."
She returned from her distance."Sorry. So what. Tall, dark and handsome in the corner has had his eye on girlie here since the minute we walked in ."
Shannon turned to see the brooding Mr Richardson silently swigging his drink.
"He takes a drink but never once has his gaze left her."
"Stop it!"Terri lightly pounded Sherl's shoulder.
"Well he hasn't. Even when the waitress took his order, he was staring at you."
"It's creepy."
"Why is it so creepy to have a man be so into you?"
"Because I've never had one "So" into me before."
"You're kidding? With a bod like that?"Vanessa interrupted.
"Remember I didn't always have one like this. It's all kinda new to me."
"Get used to it hon. Men are gonna fall all over themselves to get to you."
"What's the fascination Kev?"AJ wacked him in the chest distracting him from Terri.
"The blonde in the blue satin shirt."
"Hey Age. Isn't that the girl that dissed you in the elevator?"Howie lightly remarked becoming fascinated with the yet unmentioned party at the table.
"I think my one in a million chance just found her way back into my life."
"You haven't got a snowball's chance in hell after that little stunt you pulled in the elevator."
"She will be mine."
"I think Kev's hopelessly devoted to baby blue over there,"noticing Kevin once again was distracted.
"I think we're being pursued,"Sherl gazed over at the group of men lingering purposely at Howie.
"Yeah right,"Terri interjected.
"Why do you find it so hard to believe that any of those three would be interested in any of us?"
"Because they can have any woman in the world they want and
"And they want us,"Vanessa interjected."I'm going to give the naughty boy a chance,"Vanessa left the table.
