| Howie approached her. "What do you want?" "What do you think I want?" "To make some more accusations perhaps?" "You're the one that screwed up Dianna." "I know. You don't have to keep reminding me." "I know. I want you to come back." "Come back?" "Come back so we can talk about this." "Oh so now you believe me since I did him bodily harm?" "Come on Dianna. Nick's done some pretty fucked up shit to you but I've never seen you react that way to him." "Did you ever stop to think that I was lashing out on him because of you?" "Because of me?" "Yes. Because of you. I love you but apparently I didn't love you enough to keep my skirt on so I'll just be leaving." She turned to grab her suitcase and he moved around to block her path. "Don't you dare play the victim here! I was ready to give you my life and I find you straddling your ex boyfriend. Do you really think I should be asking you to come back at all? Do you?" "Then why are you?"She returned. "Because my heart's willing to give you a second chance where common sense won't." She just stood there stunned. "Say something." "What would you like to hear?" |
| "That you don't want to go. That you want to stay and give this a second chance. That you still have a part of me you don't want to let go." She dropped her luggage and threw her arms around him. She knew she didn't deserve this but she also knew fate was handing her something priceless. As he held onto her, he noticed the audience from the swung open doors all the way down the floor. Most of all he noticed Brian giving him a thumbs up and disappearing back into his room. In his mind he knew this should be over but his heart just wasn't willing to let go of her yet. |
