Congress

Since Congress is bicameral, its brokem into 2 parts. Senate and the House of Represemtatives make up these two parts. The Senate has 100 members, two from each state. The HoR has 435 members, based off each states population.

Like the President and congress, the Senate and the HoR have seperate powers. The Senate has the power to try cases of impeachment of Federal Officals, should such officals be impeached by the House of Representatives whom actually have the power to actually impeach the individual. The Consitution also gives the Senate the power to "advice and consent" appointments made by the President. Basically just saying that the Senate can approve statements from the President.

The House has several powers that are specifically assigned to them. The power to initiate revenue bills, which can only be formed in the HoR. Money or revenue bills or laws are only formed in the HoR. The HoR also has the power to break a Presidential tie in the Electoral College, if there ever happened to be one.
