2. These rooms have expensive equipment which is still in good shape, therefore, NO POP, FOOD, OR CANDY OR GUM is allowed in this room.
3. All work must be handed in on time. Also work will not be accepted any longer than one week after it is due if you have an excused absence.
4. You are required to bring your assigned textbook, workbook, pencil, and ruler to class everyday. A small ruler is required that will be quite helpful when ruling and double ruling your accounting papers. Since your workbook contains the working papers needed to complete your daily assignments, you must bring it to class everyday. Pencils are preferred because mistakes are easily corrected and not as messy as pens.
5. Your desktop computer should be given special care when we do computer assignments. The monitors will be turned off when not doing computer assignments (especially during lecture time). You may only turn them on to use the calculator for assignments. You will be responsible for any damage done to your station. (desk, computer, keyboard, mouse, mouse pads, etc.) Also, you are never to be in your own home personal email or myspace.com or other questionable websites--absolutely forbidden.
6. REMAIN IN YOUR SEATS UNTIL THE BELL RINGS AT THE END OF THE PERIOD. Also, push your chairs in at the end of the hour.
7. Warnings and referrals may be issued for the following:
a. Tardy to class (school policy)
b. Cheating (school policy)
c. Talking without permission
ALL OTHER MISBEHAVIOR (FIGHTING, INSUBORDINATION, DISRESPECT, DEFACING PROPERTY, ETC) WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY SENT TO THE DEAN'S OFFICE.
GRADING SCALE:
90-100 A
80-89 B
70-79 C
60-69 D
Your grades will be determined by your points out of total points possible. Grades will be earned on some of the daily assignments taken up plus chapter quizzes and tests.
You may earn extra credit of 10 points by bringing 1 box of Kleenex per 6 weeks.
