This would explain why supplies such as milk, cream, and butter sometimes seem to disappear from our homes more quickly than usual. And that is also why if you disturb fairies in the cow shed or in your kitchen, you may come across unexplained patches of milk, spilt as they skip hurridly away with their spoils. Traditionally, fairy drinks and foods are made from the leaves of shrubs, flowers, and trees, sprinkled with magick and tasting of the most exotic flavours imaginable. Mushrooms are a great favorite of fairies, and they are connoisseurs of every variety. |
