| My name is John Clark and I flew Radio Controlled Helicopters back in the early 70's shortly after the first kits were introduced and helicopter flight was almost a miracle.� During that time modelers in Florida formed an association that promoted R/C Helicopters on a State/Nation wide basis.� While most of our members were from Florida we had others that would visit Florida from time to time and joined our association.� I have not flown R/C Helicopters for more than 20 years and now am just getting back into this facet of the model aviation sport.� To my surprise the Florida Helicopter Association has apparently ceased to exist. I thought this was a valuable tool for sharing of information and also the fellowship and fun it provided for its members.� My goal is to revive the Florida Helicopter Association and the FUN is provided for its members. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| �How do I join the Florida Helicopter Association? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Membership is FREE.� All you have to do is click here or in the header, and fill out the application form. Note:� Information provided will be shared via the Internet with modelers that have an interest in the Radio Control Helicopter Model Aviation Sport | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Let me know if your club or flying site would be interested in hosting a get-together. Note: This is not a requirement.� You can still come to any organized function that is announced via E-Mail or on this site | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| What do I get in return? � | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Our goal is to visit different clubs and or flying sites within the State of Florida for a day or weekend of flying fun and sharing of information.� Note: These get-togethers are not contests but just great days of flying fun.� These functions in the past have proven to provide real time technical information at the flying site that assisted pilots in the proper set up of their particular machines.� We have a lot of good pilots in Florida that would be willing to share information on all brands of helicopters for the betterment of the sport | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| After we have accumulated a listing of pilots with a desire to host a get-together I will schedule an event and proceed with the FUN!!!! Registered members will be notified via E-Mail and I will also post these on this Website under the Event Schedule Section | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
