Houston Countertop was founded in February of 1985, by two brothers, Felipe and Jose "Pepe" Mendoza. The owners of Houston Countertop have over 70 years of experience in the Countertop Industry. They have gone to serve the Greater Houston Area proudly. They have gone as far south as Kingsville, TX to as for north as Dallas,TX to install countertops. Why would they serve such great distances, because they are known as the leaders in quality, service, and price.

LAMINATE Countertops
Laminate is the most affordable choice. There are 100s of patterns to choose from. They are two options to consider Pre-Form Tops, which will have a radius edge, similar to that of stone, or custom installation tops, which will have no radius at the edge. With Pre-Form, you can recieve those with a 3-4" Backsplash or Flat with no Backsplash. With the Custom installation, we can roll laminate up to the bottom of your upper cabinets, keep them flat or anywhere in-between. The Seams are visible, Scratches and heat burns can occur, just depending on your care for the product.

SOLID SURFACE Countertops
Solid Surface is great option to consider if you are looking for a seamless top, that is naturally resistant to heat, mold, mildew, and most stains. If either occurs, the tops can be easily repaired, and renewed with our buffing process. They come with a 10 year warranty. You can even add a sink that will be seamless to the top, for one smooth sink. The tops are non-porus and do not require any sealing. We can install a flat surface, 4" backsplash, or even full backsplash. Choose an edge that will really create any upscale look. These tops can fit any shape and size.

ENGINEERED STONE Countertops
Engineered Stone countertops bring the beauty of natural stone with options that cannot be compared to natural stones. The tops do show seams, but are heat resistant, highly scratch resistant, a non-porus stone that requires no sealing, and are stain resistant. They are many edging options that can enhance its beauty. They are no issues in reference to radon or mildew. They have the looks of natural with the safe benefits of all other surfaces. They come with a 15 year limited warranty and a free stainless steel sink.

Why NOT Granite?
They are several reports out that show many dangers Granite can affect in a houshold. Granite being a natural surface contains a natural radiation in its layers. Some of the Granites reaserched have given off dangerous amouonts of radiation in a home. Granite is not a product we are willing to risk for our customers and clients.
