Text Box: Introduction House of Union (HOU) is a shelter /orphanage that provides for Lahu Hill Tribe children who do not have parents, or whose parents are unable to appropriately care for them. The majority of the children live at HOU, while some remain in their villages with other family members. Caring for our 21 Lahu children means we provide for all of their daily necessities, just as would any other family. Being such a large family, involves meeting all the children’s needs—including all their nutritional, shelter, transportation, clothing, medical, dental, optical, educational, social, religious, and recreational requirements. From the vision of Lahu community and church leaders, grew this dream for their villages’ children. These leaders saw and understood the problems faced by children growing up in poor villages. They want to prepare their children to successfully meet the opportunities of the 21st century world.

Located in the northern Thailand province of Chiang Rai, we serve the needs of underprivileged hill tribe children.

Our Purpose

** Our top purpose is tell about Jesus to the children and making disciples.

With a goal to improve the quality of life of our children, we aim to provide long-term assistance for the needs of these poor children and orphans from the Lahu people. We provide an education that equips the children with the skills and experiences which allow them to assimilate into Thai culture and society while maintaining their own cultural heritage.

We, the Lahu people of today, envision these Lahu children of House of Union becoming tomorrow’s Christian leaders, pastors, teachers, doctors, lawyers, and nurses.

OUR VALUES

· House of Union works with local Lahu churches to build up the local church.

· House of Union is dedicated to making disciples of Jesus who will change their Lahu people’s world for Jesus.

Our request and action:

We at House of union need you to joy with us make disciples of God by support our ministry or send mission team to joy with us in work. This is what Jesus command us to do, Matthew 6:20-21. said, store up for yourselves treasures in heaven. Matthew 28:19-20. said, go and make disciples of all nations.
