Chakras are energy centers associated with bodies. Eastern or esoteric traditions have talked about them for a long time, and clairvoyant individuals will usually be able to perceive them. Therefore some vampires, specially psy vamps, can feel the energy that enters and exits through them. And the chakras can be used as a way to feed.
They might have different diameters depending on how much energy is going in and out. Each chakra relates to certain qualities and issues.
The seven chakras are:
ROOT - MOOLADHARA CHAKRA
The first chakra is situated between the genitals and the anus, at the base of the spine. It is considered the centre of the psychic energies. It is the pranic center that contains the Mystick Energy of the Kundalani (Serpent Force). It is represented by a wrapped serpent. It is in relation with the smell sense and its element is the Earth, the strength of the force of the materia. When this chakra is awakened the person acquires the ability to levitate, breathing and mind control , and has access to clarividence which allows the person to know the past as well as the present and future. It is the inner wisdom that is ever present and get sometimes clouded by our modern lifestyles. But is is a quality which exists eternally within us and cannot be destroyed, wanting to be manifest as pure joy when the Kundalini rises.
NAVEL - SWADISHTHAN CHAKRA
The second chakra is the chakra of creativity, pure attention and pure knowledge. It is located under the genitals organs, over the Mooladhara chakra, and relates to the reproduction organs, as well as the touch sense. Its element is the Water and it is represented as a half horizontal moon. When this chakra is awakened the person developes his psychic powers and gets a total dominion of his senses. On the physical level it looks after our liver, kidneys, and the lower abdomen. When we think too much, this center gets drained of energy and diseases like diabetes or blood cancer can occur when this chakra goes completely out of balance.
SOLAR PLEXUS - NABHI CHAKRA
The third chakra is the one that gives us the sense of generosity, complete satisfaction and contentment. On the left side, the main quality of this center is peace - clearing this chakra can relieve stress and tensions. On the right side, it looks after our liver which is the organ of our attention and power of concentration. It is located in the lumbar zone, near the navel. It is related to the liver, spleen, stomach and kidneys. And also with the sight. Its element is the Fire. It is represented by a triangle with its angle down. When this chakra is awakened it allows to release from pain and sickness.
HEART - ANAHAT CHAKRA
It is located in the heart zone, it controls this organ, but also the touch sense and the lungs. Its element is the Air. It is symbolized with a star of six points. It is the place where resides our Spirit, our True Self. The heart chakra manifests in the center (at the level of the sternum bone) as complete security and confidence.
THROAT - VISHUDDHI CHAKRA
It is located on the spine at the height of the throat This is the center of the Spiritual Consciousness, of the awareness of that which is beyond and greater than the mind. It relates to the larynx and pharynx plexus and to the skin. Its element is the eter and its symbol a circel inside a triangle upside down.
FOREAHEAD - AGNYA CHAKRA
It is located behind the area between the eyebrows, in the pineal center of the brain. This is the "Third Eye" that is often talked about in refrence to psychic and occult perception. It is, in one sense, The Center of the Astral Consciousness. It corresponds with the Moon. Its special symbol is the Eye.
CROWN - SAHASRARA CHAKRA
It is located above the head. This chakra gives us the direct, absolute perception of Reality on our central nervous system. It corresponds with the planet Mercury. Its special symbol is the Crown.
