The House of Decay was originally formed on the Morell-Thule Server of EverQuest, then moved to the Innoruuk Server, and have now moved to the Wrath Server of Shadowbane. HoD is an extreme roleplay guild. We play our characters as what they are, and enjoy the fun that it creates for us. Our roleplay is for enjoyment, and is not meant to be taken personally, although somebody's CHARACTER may take it personally. Even though we are a dark/evil guild, we follow the rules and regulations set down by Stray Bullet Games and UbiSoft. Roleplay is for our fun and enjoyment, not for tearing apart others' fun and enjoyment. Keep it within limits. Those found ignoring this part of the charter, will be banished if found guilty.
We want the server to start roleplaying, not start hating roleplayers.
House of Decay is also military based. We want wars, and strive to find them with just about anybody, within reason. Our members will be trained and tested in the arts of combat vs. every other class. House of Decay will be known as THE elite guild of warriors, and we will do it while using roleplay. You will learn, as a warrior, how to destroy a necromancer, cleric, shadow knight, and every other class you may run into during war, skirmishes, or dueling. We have formations, tactics, and strategies that will be studied, and tested.
Brief explanation of roleplay.
When you create a character, you give that character a history, background, personality, personal quirks, so on and so forth. You make them a whole other person, and then play them as that person. You can make them like you, totally opposite of you, or anywhere in between.
Make your character, your character, and play them how you want them to live.

To keep your roleplaying and gameplay hand in hand, these are the rules set up for House of Decay actions interacting with slaves. Orders during roleplay WILL be carried out. Orders that may not be given to a slave include: anything sexually oriented, taking of gear, taking of money, or taking of items, unless consented by the targeted slave. Any mis-use of power is to be immediately reported to an officer of the House of Decay for proper correction. As stated above; Roleplay is for enjoyment. This includes the enjoyment of our slaves. Their character may hate being a slave, but the player may like roleplaying a slave.
