Morghanna

Veiled Free Woman of Gor

Caste of the Cloth Workers

Merchant

This Turian born Free Woman has had more loss in Her young life than Many experience in an entire lifetime. Her Mother was a loyal Free Companion to her Father until the time of Her death when Morghanna was but 14 years old. Already well tutored in the arts of needle work and embellishments Morghanna stood at Her Fathers side working in the successful design and manufaturing business of the Family. Largely ignored by Her two Older Brothers, who Both took FC's and moved out of the City when Morhanna was still a very Young Woman.

She travelled to the Sardar Mountains when She was but 21, accompanied by Her Father. Beset by robbers, the Young Merchant barely escaped enslavement when Her Father was brutally murdered right before Her eyes. The retinue of Guards that travelled with Them, protecting Her, as She journeyed as All Young People of Gor must do. Returning home to Her beloved City of Turia, She found it in chaos. Deserted by the Ubar Who had ruled most of the last years of Her young adulthood. Morghanna bravely petitioned the new Ubar, Ubar Bruik for Her Citizenship. In a vote by the High Council of Turia was granted this, and protection by Ubar Bruik Himself.

Shortly after the Free Woman became a true Citizen of the City, a visit was paid to Her by the Ubar of Her youth, A Man now known as Deitrik. His words will never be forgotten by this Woman who had now come into Her Own:

says to Morghanna MeaghanVeiled F: Stands and nods..smiling..'.Sleep well Lady....know that I still watch over You and Yours....especial more so now...'

Within a passage hand the city of Turia, where this Young Woman had been born and raised was rocked to its very foundations by Ubar Dalanar, Who had been exiled from the City, and returned to steal the Homestone, and all security of the Citizens along with it. With no other choice, the Woman Morghanna left Her beloved City in search of refuge.

Her hopes layed in finding Her lost Brothers but this was not meant to be. So She settled for a short time in Port Schendi

located in the Jungle Territories of Alterrealm.

Finding a beloved Friend Lady Amaranth, and of course as fate would have it Bruik the Tarnsman as well. Trying to reslove Herself to the loss of Her Father, Mother, Brothers and now Her Homestone, and learn to call this unfamiliar Coastal City Home. At nights alone in Her Cabin, She longed for sight of Her beloved City, of the Plains. Listening to the rain and driving winds spoke to Her soul, making it cry with longing.

Always a Merchant, She learned of a new Training House/Tavern for sale on the plains between Turia and the Tuchuks, the last stop for the Merchant caravans, Who dare travel no closer to the Wagon Peoples. Working closely with two Others, She formed a Partnership on what is now called the House of Talenders.

The business opportunity offered Her the chance of financial success, plus the added bonus of being able to look out Her top story balcony, and on clear days, catch a glimpse of the City Turia off in the distance. For now it is enough.

Being a proper FW Morghanna has very little to do with the Tavern, leaving that to the Men, but the challenge of the Training House was too much to resist, so She took the risk. How will the House of Talenders pan out? Only time will tell if it was a wise investment.

Is She Happy? Ask Morghanna
