SERVES

One of the most common activities that goes on in the Gorean Home is serving of the Master or Mistress.  This is where the slave gets to " strut their stuff" and where they can catch the eye of the Free.  There are many different serves as you have seen while observing, but all serves have the same basic elements to them.  Use these basic elements to make your serve become your signature.  DO NOT USE SOMEONE ELSE'S SERVE, MAKE YOUR REFLECT YOU.

Another thing to remember, never use cut and paste to do your serves as it is a sign of laziness.  A serve should vary as do the Masters you serve.

To really do a good serve or to know the positions well try and do them at home.  Look in the mirror and see how they move, how they look and feel.  This goes a long way into perfecting your service.

A serve is a word painting, people can only picture what you tell them.  Be descriptive adding personal touches of your nature, eye color, hair color, silk color, etc.

After begging to approach and be of service, the Master or Mistress will command what they wish.  There are nine steps to doing a good serve.  Modify each step for the proper drink and be sure to add style and flare to your serve.

Step #1
:  Acknowlege them, thank them for their order, specifically repeating what they have asked for and your desire to serve it.  In the world of online, if you don't acknowledge them, they will not know if you received the order.

Step #2:  Step back from the edge of their furs three paces, turn and head to the servery/kitchen. Use your body to entice, please the eye as you move. Describe your walk, the room you move thru etc.

Step #3:  Choose the proper drinking vessel i.e. goblets for ka-la-na, cups or mugs for Blackwine, 3 footed clay bowls for paga, platters for meats, fruits and cheeses.

Step #4:  Check the items for any flaws or imperfections, run your fingertip or other parts of your body to ensure there is nothing to harm the Master or Mistress, then wipe them clean with a rep cloth.

Step #5:  Fill the vessel i.e blackwine, ladle it into the mug and set it upon the tray you have polished. For blackwine served first slave:   add a tiny urn for bosk cream and arrange the two sugar bowls ( white and yellow sugar), small spoons. Paga, may be placed in the bowl in the servery or brought to the Master's furs in a bota, ka-la-na bottles are brought to the Master's furs.

Step #6:  Return to the main room with the food or drink, making sure your walk is seductive, alluring and inviting.

Step #7:  kneel and prepare the drink, for white silks making sure to kneel in tower position, more advanced slaves always kneel nadu in the presence of the Master and tower for the Mistress out of respect for Her.

Step #8:  Present the drink, slowly bringing the container up your body, pressing it firmly against your belly, laying it against your heart, ask to proove the drink then kiss the side of the drinking vessel, lift arms to proffer the drink.

Step #9: Speak to the Master or Mistress telling them what you have brought, let them know it was as privilege to be of service to them. Remain at their furs until dismissed as they may have further need of you.

When performing your serves keep in mind how you look, how you move, how you walk, make sure you have brought the propery drink or food and in the proper container if there is any question about what the Free has asked for beg permission to clarify before you begin.
