| UNIQUE When you have a creative talent or interest, that does not follow the general population. INNOVATIVE Taking that creative talent or interest and using it in todays society. Possible having to use modern materials to re-create your item because the origional materials are no longer available or too costly. ARCHIVAL Researching your talent or interest. This could also mean just obtaining a listing of institutions, web sites, books, personal accounts, letters, to aide others in their research. This listing will then aide others with simular talents or for future tutoring. CONSERVATION Modern times has a habit of discarding the past. Therefore, preserving the ways of the past it's self is becoming obsolete. Museums are fine for archiving these items, but without hands on experience, or bardic telling of what these items are for, the items in the museum will become "dead relics", with no meaning. Being able to preserve the traditions, items, customs is something to be proud of. Conservation can be as simple as keeping the item from decaying, or being tred on, then becoming extinct. TUTORS These are individuals who are willing to take their time and expertise in a particular field of interest, then passing it along to individuals or groups. This would encompass hands on demonstrations or lectures. |
| We do not restrict the time field of interest. It can include anything from Egyptian clothing or how a Victorian home is run, to new inventions of the early 20th century. All these things contributed to the fabric of life as we know it today. Being able to preserve the past for future generations is invaluable. Enriching new minds is priceless. |
