| LEBANON ENTERPRISE 1/7/1949 DEATH TAKES YOUNG MOTHER AFTER FEW WEEKS ILLNESS Mrs. Margaret Royalty Hourigan, 26, wife of David Hourigan of Gravel Switch, died shortly after midnight, New Year's morning at the Mary Immaculate Infirmary, where she had been under treatment about three weeks and on Tuesday of last week submitted to an operation. Death was due of complications. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Royalty of Boyle County, she was born there on March 26, 1922, attended school and grew to womanhood there. Since her marriage, she had resided in this county and recently was employed with the Marion Manufacturing Co. She had made many friends both here and in the county. Surviving are her husband and one little son, Richard Lee Hourigan, aged two. She also leaves her parents and several brothers and sisters. The remains were at the Bosley Funeral Home until the funeral services, which were conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Haysville Baptist Church by the Rev. H. E. Coker, assisted by the Rev. F. G. Schlafer. Burial was in the Haysville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Billy Glasscock, Fletcher Harmon, Wilson Hays, Grand Simpson, Joe Brussell and Ed Funk. |
