| MARION FALCON 6/18/1909 Mr. Henderson O. Bagwell, a well-known and highly esteemed farmer near Haysville died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. John Shumate near Loretto. Deceased accompanied by his wife visited his daughter Friday and Saturday morning suffered a stroke of paralysis, being found unconscious in the yard. He never regained consciousness, dying Wednesday. The funeral service and interment were at Haysville yesterday and were attended by a large number of relatives and friends. The immediate relatives of deceased in this county are his wife, four daughters and four sons; Mesdames John Shemate, John Cheatham, Walter Raley and Nelse Hays, Jr. and Messrs. John, Will, Tom and Charles Bagwell. |

| LEBANON ENTERPRISE, Friday, 10/2/1931, Page 9 Mrs. Cassie Bagwell, widow of H. O. Bagwell, passed away at the home of her son, Tom Bagwell, on the Calvary Pike, a few miles from town at 5 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon of infirmities incident to age. She was 90 years old and had been in failing health for some time. For several weeks her condition had been such as the cause her family and friends much apprehension. She is survived by 5 daughters; Mrs. Georgia Mouser, Mrs. John Cheatham, and Mrs. S. W. Raley of this county; Mrs. John Shoemaker of Boyle County, and Mrs. Neslon Hays of Washington County. 4 sons also survive. They are; Charles, John, William and Tom Bagwell all of this county. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Haysville Baptist Church and burial was in the church cemetery. |
