Cat Costumery - Advanced
OK, once you've decided what sort of cat you are
(and remember - your second and third cat costumes can be wildly different), you can begin to think about whether you're summer or winter pelt, and how much time and trouble you'll put up with putting on your costume and taking it off.

IMPORTANT TIP:
Body paint and makeup is a cool summer costume but requires artistry and time to put on, and sewn fabric and fur catsuit costumes take some time
to make but they're easy
to put on and take off.

A black nose and whiskers on the face are basic.
Added coloration = artistry.
Panthers are one-color.
Cheetahs have spots.
Leopards have clusters of spots called rosettes (see right) and some Jaguar rosettes have spots inside.
Tigers have russet-orange on their backs and sides and white on their bellies with dark brown or black stripes extending from spine to sides of tummy.
And everybody knows what lions look like, right?
