Ryan Phillippe was born on September 10, 1974, in New Castle, Delaware.� Ryan first appeared in the television series One Life to Live.� He played daytime TV�s first gay teenager, Billy Douglas.� He later moved to NBC�s Lake Success.� He appeared in a number of smaller TV roles before he moved to what he�s more recognized for: films.� Ryan�s first big success was in the film White Squall, where he costarred with Scott Wolf, Ethan Embry, and Jeff Bridges.�
Nationwide recognition came after the success of the 1997 horror film, I Know What You Did Last Summer.
