Info and Pictures of my 1981 Toyota Celica GT
updated 05-22-03
Above is a picture of my recently aquired 1981 Celica GT. My dad gave me this fine car for my college graduation gift. He has owned it since 1991 and ever since then I have wanted it. He bought it with only 109,000 miles on it and as of right now it only has 136,000 miles on it. During Thanksgiving I put this car in my girlfriends parents garage to do some work on it. I was planning on just putting a mild built head and a new clutch in it. What I ended up doing was rebuilding the whole engine(didn't even use the built head), replacing all the steering, new rear brakes, new u-joints and carrier bearing, new suspension bushings, new stereo head unit, new clutch, and relocating battery to the trunk. I just got the motor running a few weeks ago and am trying to put many miles on it to break in the motor so I can go see what I can do with the power I Gained from what I did. The pictures are not updated pictures but I will have updated ones up soon. Also under my list of mods done to the car is what I am planning on doing in the future.
