I enjoyed interviewing Sienna. Here's the interview:
My name is Sienna and I'm a CCM artist from Long Island, NY. I released my debut album last year called "Steps" so I'm currently touring and promoting that. I'm also getting ready to go back into the studio to record my next Album. Can't wait!
How would you describe your music?
The music on my first CD, "Steps", is Soulful pop/r&b with a positive message. My next CD will be more mainstream pop/rock
Is there a certain message you are trying to get across in your music?
The message I wish to share with my audience is ... God is real! He loves and cares for you and I hope that by my music and the lyrics in the music people can understand that and want to know more about Him
Where do you get your inspiration to sing?
God! Different experiences in life inspires me
Would you like to give an example of one of the experiences?
My neck was broken in a car accident and by all rights I should have been paralyzed but I wasn't. I believe God had many other things in mind. I have grown so much from that as a person and as an artist. It opened me up to a whole other world.
Have you always wanted to be a singer?
Always! I can't remember a moment in my life when I didn't know that I want to be a singer. The Dr. who delivered me said I came out singing a high C.
If you weren�t singing, what would you be doing with your future?
I would be a pediatric nurse. I love the medical field and kids are adorable.
Is there one song that means more than anything to you? (That you sing)
Hmmm. It's hard to choose because there are a few favorites! If I had to choose one I guess it would be "Falling in Love." It's about a pure love that sustains all things. Loving deeper and truer.
Do you write your own songs?
I did not write the songs on my CD "Steps" but I am co-writing some new stuff.
What is the greatest experience you have had this far in your career?
I was chosen to go to perform in Italy last summer. It was such and awesome experience to be able to perform there. I sang on the top of a mountain that looked over a city. It was all lit up at night and was sooo beautiful!

Awesome music! I hope to deliver a CD that touches your heart and inspires you to go out into the world and be the best person that you can be.
What makes you from the other singers out already?
I would have to say the message in my music. Also at my live concerts my band and I really like to have fun and interact with the audience.
What is your exact goal with your music and what are you doing to achieve that goal?
My goal is to go out and touch peoples hearts and bring them closer to God through my music. There are so many distractions in this life that keep us from God and His will for our lives. We need to focus of Him and once we do that and trust in Him, everything else in your life will make sense and fall into place. So to achieve that goal, I have to make sure that my music appeals to all audiences. To keep their attention and focus.
Have you done anything in your career that you regret?
No, I haven't. Everything is a learning experience and maybe at the time I would have thought "why am I doing this?" but I wouldn't change anything.
What advice would you give to other singers?
Don't give up!!!! If want to make your dream to become a reality you have to be willing to work really hard to achieve that. Most importantly, be yourself. Don't compromise your morals and values in order to be accepted by "the world." Instead be your own role model and have the world look to you!
