She is currently working on her debut album, and in the process of co-writing songs. All the songs RyanJoy sings she can relate to in one way or anyother, and hopes you can too.

Here's the inteview we did with RyanJoy.
I am 23 years old (soon to be 24) from Tampa Fl. I am an upcoming R&B / pop artist
How would you describe your music?
I would describe it as pop with an Urban edge
Do you have in input on what songs you record?
Yeah definitely� I have personally selected every song I do... and even though I have not personally written any of the songs I have made sure that I can relate to all of them on a personal level
Have you thought about getting involved in the writing process?
Yeah that is something I have already started to get into � I�m going to be working with some of my songwriters.
Is there a certain message you are trying to get across in your music?
I really just want to have music that everyone no matter of race or age can relate to in some manner or another
What�s your favorite song that you sing?
Ummm� I have 3 that are my fav� I really enjoy Don't U Hate It (this is a song that I feel really allows me to sing it, it shows some of my vocal range) Why is another fav, this is my ballad (I enjoy singing this song because I can relate to it) and Throw Yo Hands Up (I like singing this song just because its a fun upbeat song)
Have you ever had a crazy fan experience?
Hmm... So far I haven�t had one yet.
Is there one fan that has done something that has left a lasting impression on you?
Realistically I love everything my fans do for me, they are so supportive and I appreciate that so much! They are always promoting me and getting my name out there!!
Any embarrassing moments on stage?
My very first show I ever did was a big Radio Disney show here in Tampa, and I was extremely nervous already and then my headset didn�t work when I started singing so they had to run out and give me another mic, and then I forgot dance moves� It was pretty bad.
What is the greatest experience you have had this far in your career?
Really everything so far... I�m really excited about an upcoming show I have at the POP Warner superbowl.which is a huge event that happens every year at the Wide World of Sports, I will be singing the national anthem and performing at the halftime show which will be filmed on ESPN. its going to be HUGE so I cant wait
If you weren�t singing what would you be doing with your future?
If I wasn't singing then I would be getting involved with acting. Acting is something I have always wanted and plan on doing in the future as well. If i couldn�t do either than I probably would be in school studying to do something maybe in education. I use to want to be a teacher.
Describe the feeling when you get up on stage.
It is so exciting and such a rush. I always get a little nervous before I go out on stage but once I am out there it is so much fun!
When did you first start to sing professionally?
Professionally about 4 years ago. I�ve always done chorus throughout school, but about 4 years ago I started working with a vocal coach
Would you ever join a group?
If a good opportunity arose for me to be in a group definitely
What makes you different from all the other singers out there?
I think really just the fact that I'm able to do the music I want and have the style I want to have. I�m not trying to be someone I�m not and fortunately the people I am working with are not trying to have me do something I�m not. Also even though my music is commercial I do feel it has a little uniqueness to it.
What is your goal for your music career?
Really I just want to record an awesome album and be able to travel and perform and allow everyone in the world to hear my music.
What are you doing to accomplish your goal?
Right now I have been recording with various producers to put together a really good album, I�ve been performing non stop to get my name across to everyone possible and more recently we have been shopping around to a couple labels to see if anything bites.
Where�s your favorite place to perform?
So far the coolest place I performed was at Penns Landing in Philly for Radio Disney. I had never been to Philly before so that was really cool. And it was a HUGE stage too.
How do you stay in such good shape?
Dancing is usually what keeps me in shape. Fortunately I have a high metabolism. I try and work out as much as I can, but I stay pretty active
If you could remake/record someone�s song, what song would it by, by who and why.
I�ve always wanted to redo Faithfully by Journey, they are one of my favorite old rock bands, I think it would be cool to redo it and give it a different vibe.
Have you done anything in your career that you regret?
Nope. I have had some downs definitely in my career, but I have learned from all my experiences so I don�t regret anything.
What can we expect from you in the future?
Definitely an album out, a record deal which will allow me to really get my album out there to everyone. A lot of shows and getting involved in acting so u will see me on the big screen.
What advice would you give to other singers?
If this is something you truly want you have to put everything into it and never give up. No matter what.
Do you support any charities?
I support a lot of charities. I support American Cancer Society, Make a Wish Foundation, B.A.S.E Camp, Eating Disorder Alliance, and Diabetes. There are so many I support!
Are you currently working with any of these charities?
Yes. I just recently did a benefit concert with B.A.S.E Camp, I also worked with VTeens.org and went down to West Palm Beach and helped hand out food and clothes to underprivileged families
