Aviva
From Charmed
Okay, my word to describe Aviva would be unstable. She doesn't seem to be really 'with it.' Fortunately, she's a great character, and really interesting. Still, troubled, weird, unstable, odd...all of those similar words describe her.
Aviva is a teenager who just wants to be friends. Her mom's in rehab and she lives with her Aunt Jackie. She also wants to be a witch, to have sisters. But she doesn't have ANY friends or sisters. So, being gullible, she befriends a high priestess who appears to her in a mirror.
Here's something she doesn't know; the high priestess is actually a demon, Kali, who wants to take the 3 Halliwell sisters powers. She convinces poor Aviva to steal their cat, return him and befriend Phoebe, who is also looking for someone to share her powers with. Aviva returns the cat and actually annoys Phoebe at first. She basically runs into Phoebe's house, past Phoebe.  Well, Phoebe likes her anyway.  However, Prue, Phoebe's older sister, doesn't trust her. Her trust isn't misplaced. After threatening to kick Aviva out, Aviva shows that she's not just a troubled teen. She can start fires. And not just with a match; with her mind. Aviva still befriends Phoebe, and ends up getting kicked out of Phoebe's house again by Prue.
This is basically where her unstableness shows again.  She goes home, mad and offended. Bad news for her Aunt Jackie, who comes into Aviva's room at the wrong time.  Aviva in her quick rage, and with the 'help' of Kali, hurls a fireball at her aunt, making her panic and fall down the stairs.
Having nobody else to turn to, Aviva, with the help of Phoebe, quickly convinces Prue to let her stay at the Halliwell house. Aviva shows her 'gratitude' by attempting to kill Prue, but failing. Instead, she accidently gets Phoebe with a fireball.
Being a young gullible teenager, she gets herself possessed by Kali, who goes to kill Prue. Of course, the sisters win and Aviva goes home to patch things up with her aunt ("Oh honey, of course I don't mind that you tried to kill me!")
Aviva, in this whole episode, is simply lonely. It's an example: kid gets depressed, decides to befriend a demon and hurt people. But Aviva seemed really 'out of it' anyway, without Kali. But she's an awesome character, one of my absolute favs, and should've come back into Charmed at least once.

(Aviva is writing in her diary in her room)
Aviva: Dear diary...

Aunt Jackie:(from outside) Aviva, open the door!

Aviva: (writing) Life sucks here.

Aunt Jackie:(bursts into the room) I'm gonna be late for work!

Aviva: So that part about this being my room, that was a lie?

Jackie: It's my apartment, Aviva.

Aviva: So you keep reminding me, Aunt Jackie.

Jackie: Why don't you get some light and air in here?

Aviva: Because I like it dark and stale.

Jackie: Why are you so antagonistic?
