As we were finishing up the packing before our move, we were in desperate need of newspaper to pack the rest of the fragile items in. Thinking back to the places we'd gone that day and the houses we'd driven past, we realized that a house just down the street had a recycling bin that happened to be overflowing with newspapers. So, it was decided that this was a mission for Kandy Kane and Lil' Tiny. We told Big Poppa that we would walk down there and grab a few. Since neither of us has a license, we weren't supposed to drive. But, we were feeling kinda lazy and decided to take our mom's car. So, we got in the car and sped away, hoping no one would hear the car starting. We drove up to the house and stopped the car. Lil' Tiny and I jumped out and grabbed a few. But, on the way back, Lil' Tiny accidentally dropped a ton of papers all over the road. I didn't notice them until we turned around and stopped again, this time facing the other direction. We stopped, turned off the lights, and hopped out. Quickly, we grabbed a ton of newspapers out of their bin and threw them in the back of the car. Once the bin was empty, we sped off back to Big Poppa's house. It took us forever to take out all of the newspapers and stack them neatly to carry them inside, especially since they were just thrown in the backseat and completely covered it. |
