Such might read the last minute instructions in the manual we were
reading in the womb to get us ready for the shock of space-time physical
existence and it's appearances of limitation. Many of us eventually do
remember.
It starts with little things...
"Hey..wait a minute. I was just thinking about you and you called!"
Slowly we come to realize that we are creating what happens.
We don't give ourselves credit at first. We have been taught to consider
ourselves victims at the mercy of a malevolent universe. We have been
told again and again either overtly or through enculturation that we
have no say in what goes on. STUFF HAPPENS. It was "an act of God".
This last one actually contains one of the keys but you don't generally see
it at the time you need it.
"An act of God", yes indeed. We are all made of star stuff. The same
stuff that makes up your body dances in the heart of stars. The energy
that makes up the animating pattern of life force that is using the
physical body is the fabric of the universe itself. Within you you
contain the pattern that creates the entire BEINGness that IS. How you
choose to project that pattern determines what your world looks like.
It can be a hard process to let yourself be the creator. It's a lot of
responsibility. It is really much easier to create a random universe that
plays with your life like a whiz kid with a yoyo. It's much easier to
believe in a vengeful, and perhaps capricious God who gets offended and
punishes people like some cosmic block parent. It takes the
responsibility for your world as you experience it off of your
shoulders. Slowly one comes to realize that it also removes most of
your options. One comes to realize that until we take ownership
over even the smallest details of life we are unnecessarily limiting the
universe.
A lot of us have had fantasies at one age or another (usually several)
about "being in control". Those fantasies usually don't consider the
responsibilities we acquire simply by being born in control of our
world. We choose the birth parents, date, time, and circumstances to
suit the adventure we have written. We write the script that creates the
major features of the life we come here to play in. It's not locked in
but how will you acquire the experience of something until you experience
it? You control every nuance of every scene and can rewrite it at any
time simply by remembering that it's not real . It's just the
appearance of real. That clears the storyboard for whatever you want to
create next.
Here's an exercise I stole from another writer:
Close your eyes and imagine that you are a powerful sorcerer.
Imagine that you can shape, project, and mold the very universe into
whatever seemings you care to have.
Feel that experience for a minute....
Got it?
Whisper to yourself, "I am the sorcerer..."
Now open your eyes to find that you ARE the sorcerer.
Look around you and see what you have created.
Remember the feeling as you opened your eyes.
It will come in handy as you shape your world and create lifetimes,
and all the wonderful starstuff that is this IS.
