The third season continues the war agains the Great Master Akurei. The first eight sections of the archive focuses on the search for the Ancient Treasures. During the eighth section, Seiyami, the dark side of child light Sutako, is introduced, and the digi-destined move on with their lives, thinking that the war against the Great Master is pretty much over. Meanwhile, the dark digi-destined come into being myteriously, and the digi-destined are found pit up against the powerful warriors of Akurei.
