A new generation is introduced to the world of digimon in the first two archives, and they find themselves attacked constantly by the possessed Zodiac digimon. But, they succeed and head back home in Archive 7, finding themselves in the awkward situation of explaining that they are digi-destined to family and friends. The digi-destined soon return to the Digital World, only to find themselves separated and attacked by various other enemy digimon controlled by the Dark Masters MetalSeadramon, Puppetmon and MachineDramon. During Archives 11-15, the digi-destined find themselves in a Labyrinth run by Piedmon and his henchmen, and one-by-one, they are sent into dark mirrors away from their friends. They have to fight their way out of the dark mirrors and the Labyrinth before it's too late. During the remainder of the season, the digi-destined had to work to figure out who the child of fate really was and find him or her before someone else did.
