Well, Slayers is coming to TV!  FOX has confirmed that it will be airing in its Saturday line-up sometime this month.  They better make it soon because there really aren't many more weekends left in February.  I'm not sure about the editing or what episodes they will show, but it should be received well by all.  Except by me...Slayers is MY show.  I don't really like change...but anime needs all the good exposure it can and I can think of no better anime than Slayers!

Thanks to someone whose email I have lost, and RightStuff.com's recent news section...There is DEFINITELY going to be a third Tenchi Ryo-Ohki series.  Yay!  That means that the original drawing style (not the icky Shin) style will be kept and it also will be directed by the one and only Masaki Kajishima!  The new series will focus around the three goddesses (Tokimi, Tsunami and Washu).  It sounds extremely interesting!  Also, Tenchi will HAVE to choose one of the girls.  Wow, so if you want to read the entire interview, go to

The new recent news of the new millenium!  Yay.  All right, let's see what's going on here.  Seems that Toonami is getting us a new anime series.  Called Outlaw Star.  I, personally, have never even heard of it but it looked interesting.  Sort of a Neon Genesis Evangelion meets Blue Submarine that happened to be kidnapped by Vampire Princess Miyu.  I don't know, from what I here, it's not the greatest but there are those that don't think Tenchi is so great as well.  I also heard that Toonami is cutting 10 episodes of the series, leaving 15 out of 20 for us.  It is premiering January 15 at 6:30.

Aside from that, the rumor that Toonami is going to get more eps of Gundam has almost been ascertained as a fact.  Toonami should be getting some other season of Gundam because it has been so successful.  On that note, Gundam has also been pulled from the line-up.  I'm not sure why, haven't checked into it, but I'm thinking that they will pull it back when they get the new Outlaw Star.

I saw the new Tenchi Muyo tapes at my Suncoast the other day.  The Toonami versions have a key chain in them?!  I want a Tenchi key chain!  Hmm, oh well.  It was pretty cheap too, $14.98.

Ooo, also saw a preview for the new Final Fantasy movie.  What the heck did they do?!  No chocobos, no magic, it's all computer animated and looks nothing like...anything!  It looks like Titan A.E. meets Stargate.  Ack!  Now, it might turn out to be really great but it doesn't deserve to be called Final Fantasy in my opinion.

Konyayachiwa minna-san!
Well, Tenchi got booted to the 5:30 slot.  Stupid Gundam...wait, I like Gundam, I don't understand it but I like it.  Oh well.  Also, for all of you night owls (Hoothoots?) Tenchi is now being shown at 12:30 AM.  Not uncut, the same old American censoring is at it again.

By the way this little tidbit that got me out of studying to do something important (update the site...look for anime to download) was because of Theodoric-san!  Arigatou!

And thanks to everyone that has emailed me with recent and upcoming news!  It really helps all of us Otaku out if we keep each other informed.  Have a great Thanksgiving!

Yay!  Remember a while ago I said something about FOX getting Blue Submarine Number 6?  Well, I guess it fell through but...Cartoon Network got it!  It's a four-part miniseries, I believe, and will be premiering on November 6th (Monday) at 6.  Yes, that means something must be done with Tenchi.  Maybe they will make Toonami longer and have Tenchi at 6:30?  I just hope they don't do away with it all together...hmmm...

Ok, here's something else but not so happy.  It seems everyone knew this but me, but someone doesn't know.

Because FOX has not gotten the attention it had hoped for, they are dropping Escaflowne.  They are going to show what's left of this season and then it's all over.  Too bad, I didn't like it very much but it began to grow on me.
