Silver Serenity
Gently flutter, graceful lace
Through ebony and night.
Brush my cheek and slip away
Into thy diamond flight.

Whisper to thy tiny friends,
Beseech them, here I stand,
To pause in peaceful reverence
And light upon my hand.

Come swiftly in thy journey
To glisten in this place;
While heaven drifts eternally
To kiss my upturned face.
